I've worked in addiction recovery for over five years.
Alcohol, which is legal, is worse than nearly every illegal drug. Marijuana is low on the totem pole here, despite what the establishment would have you believe. I say here, i would trust a heroin addict before i would trust a drunk. alcohol affects nearly every organ system.
